Who is responsible

This website is run by Muhammad Huzaifa Awais, an individual based in Lahore, Pakistan. It is not operated by a registered company. For privacy questions, use the contact form.

The short version

• Tools process what you type and the files you choose inside your browser. Files and text are not uploaded to this website.
• There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
• A few features talk to this site’s own server, and each is described below: the contact form, the IP address checker, the currency converter and the optional URL mode of the security headers checker.
• The web host keeps standard access logs, as every web server does.

Data processed in your browser

When you use a tool, the text you type and the files you select are read by JavaScript running on your own device. Results are created on your device and offered as a download or shown on the page. Some tools load a code library, a word list or a language model for text recognition from this same website the first time you use them. Those requests fetch code and data; they do not send your content.

Microphone, camera and screen

Device tests, recorders, the tuner and the sound meter ask your browser for permission before using your microphone, camera or screen. Audio and video are processed live in the page. Recordings stay in the page’s memory until you download them or leave; nothing is uploaded or stored by this website.

Speech to Text uses the speech recognition service built into your browser. In Chrome and Edge that service sends audio to Google or Microsoft for transcription under their privacy policies. This website never receives the audio.

Contact form

When you send a message, your name, email address, topic, subject and message are sent to this site’s server, which emails them to me and does not keep a copy. The email is then held in my email inbox (Google Gmail) until I delete it. To limit spam, the server stores a one-way hash of your IP address with the time of your request for about ten minutes. I use your details only to reply to you.

IP address checker, currency converter and header checker

• What Is My IP asks this site’s server to read back the address your browser connected from. The script does not log or store it.
• Currency Converter loads exchange rates that the server downloads from the European Central Bank and caches. The amount you enter never leaves your browser.
• HTTP Security Headers Checker, in its optional fetch mode, sends the URL you type to this site’s server, which requests that public URL’s headers and returns them. The URL and result are not stored. The site you check sees a request from this server, not from you.

Each of these keeps a one-way hash of your IP address and request times for about a minute to prevent abuse.

Server logs

The hosting provider [name the host, for example Hostinger or Namecheap] records technical access logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page and browser user agent. They are used for security and troubleshooting and kept for [confirm retention period with the host]. They are not used to identify or profile visitors.

Storage on your device

No cookies are set by this website. Some tools save your own data in your browser’s local storage so it is still there next time: notes, to-do items, habits, sticky notes, timer and Pomodoro settings, world clock cities, wheel entries, tally counts and best scores, and your light or dark theme choice. This data never leaves your device. See the cookie policy for the full list and how to clear it.

Fonts and third parties

Fonts, scripts and data files are served from this website. The site does not load Google Fonts, social media widgets, embedded videos or analytics.

Advertising

The site does not currently show advertising. If ads are introduced (for example Google AdSense), this policy and the cookie policy will be updated before they go live, and a consent prompt will be shown where the law requires one.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its use. Because the site stores almost nothing about visitors, most requests can be answered quickly. See data requests.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Significant changes, such as adding advertising or analytics, will be noted on the home page for a reasonable period.
