What it does

Write one shift per line, for example "Mon 09:00 17:30 30" for a 30 minute break. 12-hour times like 9am and 5:30pm work too. Decimal hours are ready for payroll.

How to use it

  1. Enter one shift per line: day, start, end, break minutes.
  2. Optionally enter your hourly rate.
  3. Read the total hours and pay.

Questions

How are overnight shifts handled?

If the end time is earlier than the start, the shift is treated as ending the next day.

Why decimal hours?

Payroll multiplies hours by rate, so 7 hours 30 minutes becomes 7.5.
