    What it does

Large photos slow pages down and bounce off email size limits. Pick a quality between 10 and 100; around 75 to 85 usually looks identical to the original at a fraction of the size.

    How to use it

    1. Choose an image.
    2. Pick JPEG or WebP and a quality level.
    3. Compress, compare the sizes, and download.

    Example

    When it helps

    • Shrinking product photos before uploading to a store.
    • Meeting attachment limits on forms.
    • Improving page speed scores.

    Questions

Why did my PNG get bigger?

PNG is lossless, so the quality slider does not apply. Convert to JPEG or WebP for photos to see real savings.

    Is the original changed?

No. You download a new file; your original stays untouched.
